Sending my friend a GC!

My childhood friend is getting married a month from now i promised her that i will send a gift to her but she mentioned though that after they will get married they will right away depart to other city where the groom's live so it is practical to just send her cash instead. I thought of gift cards are best idea to give so she and her husband will be the one to decide what they like to get from it. I found online which they customize your gift cards you can upload your personal photos and stuff like that, pretty neat actually! I might get here later on.
