The man and his bikes

Here's an inspiring story I'd like to share. Way back in 2006, a guy named John Vanhara was looking for inexpensive bike for himself, since he didn't find one from the store or somewhere else, he decided to go straight to the manufacturer. Realizing that he can save more if he'd buy in bulk, he purchased 150 beach cruiser bikes. He then put up a small store and a website, within the same month, he was able to sell all the bikes except the one he kept for himself. For the next following months, he was able to continue the business and doubled his sales up to these days.

That was the humble beginnings of a very successful bicycle business. Today, people passionate with their bicycles are happy to come to this place and get to have the best cruiser bikes. They can even customized it with their chosen designs and accessories. The prices are pretty much affordable, all enthusiast can afford it. And the best part is that Mr. John Vanhara himself guarantees all his customers that they'd get the perfect bicycle according to their needs. So what are you waiting for guys? Spring is here! It's the perfect time to get out and ride your bikes. Oh how I wish I know how to ride a bicycle! Definitely one of my frustrations in life lol!

Kurdapya's rantings

My back hurts especially now that I'm nearing my pregnancy due. I always complain most especially in the morning upon waking up. It's hard even to make up our bed because it's huge and large. I guess this is just part of being pregnant, always complaining lol! Anyway, since we have our new nursery room and Joshua has his own toddler room already, might as well renovate our room too this coming spring. Nothing much needs to be fix, just little adjustments. I hope we could change our bed. I prefer to have the sleek and minimalist type, something not bulky. Metal beds for instance, as in the king sized metal bed they look so neat and simple. Especially the como bed from time4sleep, it's seems very soft and comfortable, not to mention very romantic too lol! Well let's see, still depends on the budget. Actually there are more prioritized things. Kurdapya needs to save because she wants to travel. She wants to visit her cousin soon. And of course, we do plan to visit Philippines next year with the kids. My family back home are very excited to see our offsprings lol! Oh yeah, it is Saturday tomorrow. Time to roam around and meet the world. Enjoy your weekend ahead ya'll!

Coupons can save you a lot!

Collecting things is one of my therapy, like shoes, pens, and guess what? Coupons! Yes, am a certified coupon lady like my mother-in-law lol! Everytime we go to the grocery or at the mall, I'd always make it a point to grab some coupons so can use it in our next purchases. I tell you, we can really save some bucks because of it. And because I shop online most of the time, I'm in constant hunting for online coupons. Glad EZcoupon search exist! It's in here you'd get to find all the discount coupons for all the products from different stores online. You won't be having a hard time looking for discounted products anymore because the search is so simple. What I really like here is that they offer better deals and bigger discounts on the the widest selection of items such as gadgets, computers, apparels, and food! I might soon get this HP Coupons, a 50% off on HP LaserJet printer deal. It's a good timing because my sister asked if we could send them a printer so she can make personalized cards and other stuff.

You guys might want to check out for discount coupons as well. Feel free to give them a visit and and register. Upon doing so, you can now use the coupons and even post it in your own profile so friends and family can use it too. Amazing isn't it?

Calling to Philippines

I am guilty right now sure my grandma is mad and upset already because it's been awhile haven't call her or my family in the Philippines now. She always said to me even just once a week i'll be able to talk to her because she wants to hear her favorite granddaughter's voice lol! Especially right now few more weeks i am delivering our second baby they really wanted to know everything here so i need to get ready and get several Calling Cards to bring with me while am in the hospital so just anytime i can talk to my family and grandma. Ever since anyway I only use prepaid phone card because it's a lot cheaper compare to regular telephone calling, we used to have monthly bills that are so up high! So we decided to stick with the prepaid phone card for quite sometimes now. But since husband is still busy at work and me also can not go out somewhere anymore because of my belly i thought purchasing Phone Cards through online is a pretty good idea. And I already found one which they have good minutes use compare to the one i usually buy in the local store here! So might as well try it here!

Congrats!

We started painting my son's room and everything are out of place right now and we need more storage. A better choice

It feels good to know that people in general are becoming much concerned about the welfare of the society and how they can help. The economic crisis for instance made us realized how important it is to save and prioritize. When we purchase, it should be something that would last through the years. It's great to see individuals investing in infrastructure using composite railroad tie. It's indeed the perfect thing to consider because it's made from recycled plastics, have no toxin, more quieter, and it can last for up to 75 long years! The bailout money can really be put to good use if we invest more wisely especially when it comes to infrastructure.

Get the brighter Smile!

Smile! We all know how important such gesture is. It perks up the weary, uplifts the spirit, and warms the heart. One of the most beautiful things there is and it's absolutely free! But sometimes, we hesitate to give a smile. Why? Perhaps we think, hmmmm, I still have to whiten my teeth LOL! It's a fact that having a clean white teeth affects our relationship with other people, so we really need to take good care or our oral hygiene. Thankfully, we can now whiten and take care of teeth even just at home. There are cutting-edge, up-to-date products that helps us take care of our oral hygiene in the convenience of our home. For instance sonicare flexcare, a power toothbrush that creates dynamic cleaning between the teeth and below the gum line. It cleans way beyond the reach of the usual toothbrush. Another thing is the Ultreo Electric Toothbrush. It is very effective in removing hard-to-reach plague and improves the gums as well. Aside from that, oral irrigator concentrate solution are also available. A superb breath freshener and it can even replace your toothpaste already. I personally like teeth whitening products and kits that really gives satisfying results. And also a baby care oral hygiene products are what we need for our babies sensitive teeth. Thank goodness such items are available these days. It means we can save more money since we can avoild cavities and dentist appointments. And yes, we can now show and give our sincerest smile!

must for insurance agents

Let's face it, life here in the U.S is so difficult without insurance. We all know how beneficial it is to have one, but since we also want the best insurance policies, we often search for insurance quotes online to compare. Now what if we are the insurance agents? How can clients land onto us? The answer is insurance lead. It's a marketing strategy for insurance agents to increase their sales. Just put it this way, the insurance market is like a superhighway. For prospects to reach you, insurance lead is what you need. Feel free to know more about what they have to offer.

Just one more thing!

Oh man, we got lots of stuff after the baby shower. I have to arrange and tidy things before I give birth next month. The baby room is almost complete and ready except for the ceiling fan. The one we had was kinda old and noisy we really should get a new one. But since I refuse to roam around the mall anymore, I told husband to look for ceiling fans online instead. After all it's better because we can search for wider varieties and greater deals. Alright, I think we're all set after this. Winks!

For Dentists out there!

I mentioned somewhere in my post about husband's appointment with his dentist last week. While there, we were able to talk about things that has been affecting dentist/patient relationship. He told us that because of the financial crisis, more and more people chose not to visit their dentists anymore, in a regular basis. That's why the dental field needs to look for ways and means to continue their practice. He told us about a dental software that truly brought benefits in their field. Because of this dental practice management software, dental practice can now use technology to its full potential. It helped them cost-cut expenses, it increases their marketing to other potential patients, it helped them retain existing patients by taking care of their needs, and of course becoming more flexible and competitive. Good thing such software is available, it makes us possible for us to continue visiting our dentist especially during this time of crisis.

Man & Elephant

Man's domestication of elephants has a long history. Perhaps the most famous example in antiquity is that of Hannibal, a Carthaginian general. In the third century B.C.E., the North African city of Carthage was fighting Rome in a century-long series of battles known as the Punic Wars. Hannibal assembled an army in the city of Cartagena, Spain, with the plan on marching on Rome. He first crossed the Pyrenees to enter what is now France. Then, in what Archeology magazine terms "one of the boldest military maneuvers in history," his army of 25,000 men- accompanied by 37 African elephants and scores of packed animals loaded with supplies- crossed the Alps into Italy. They had to contend with cold, snowstorms, rockslides, and hostile mountain tribes. That journey was extremely strenuous for the elephants. Not one of them survived Hannibal's first year in Italy.

Hmmm... now I know why most villains are named Hannibal LOL!

Busy as bee!

Despite my father in law is busy doing taxes right now yet at the same time he is busy beautifying his yard so it will be ready for spring and summer season. During that seasons we always have family gatherings, kids visit their grandparents you know. So lolo making sure that his backyard is a place for relaxation and fun. He make some renovation here and there including putting up a good size sink outside because they do gardening. I saw him looking for sinks online and one of his choices was the farmhouse sinks made of granite or marble. So eventually my husband the one who supervise the work will install it.

Who knew?

There are some good tips here that might of some help you!

Who knew? That...
  • Eliminate ear mites. All it takes is a few drops of Wesson Corn Oil in your cat's or dog's ear... massage it in, then clean with a cotton ball. Repeat daily for 3 days. The oil soothes the cat's skin, smothers the mites, and accelerates healing.
  • Kills fleas instantly... Dawn Dishwashing Liquid does the trick. Add a few drops to your dog's bath and shampoo the animal thoroughly. Rinse well to avoid skin irritations. Good-bye fleas.
  • Rainy day cure for dog odor: Next time your dog comes in from the rain, simply wipe down the animal with Bounce or any dryer sheet, instantly making your dog smell springtime fresh.
  • Did you know that drinking two glasses of Gatorade can relieve headache pain almost immediately-without the unpleasant side effects caused by traditional pain relievers?
  • Did you know that Colgate Toothpaste makes an excellent salve for burns?
  • Before you head to the drugstore for a high-priced inhaler filled with mysterious chemicals, try chewing on a couple of curiously strong Altoids peppermints. They'll clear up your stuffed nose.
  • Achy muscles from a bout of the flu? Mix 1 tablespoon horseradish in 1 cup of olive oil. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes, then apply it as a massage oil for instant relief for aching muscles
  • Sore throat? Just mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and take 1 tablespoon six times a day. The vinegar kills the bacteria.

The day i said I DO

I am happily married for 3 years now and all those memories in my wedding day still fresh in my mind. It was the time of my life there's no world in English can describe how much happy i am that day. I got my man and everything goes along very well. We planned the wedding very smoothly everything turned on good from wedding dresses, entourage, down to reception. It wasn't very elaborated one but i tell you it was the wedding that i dreamt of to be. My theme was simple yet classy it started from the motif of my entourage which i personally choose, a midnight blue with silver touch. The bride and groom's dresses are made of pineapple silk material all the way from Philippines. And my gown was the one really stood out that day kids thought i was a princess walking along the aisle lol! I thank my wedding planner which is my sister in-law, 100 guest fed well. She got those beautifully made wedding favors and wedding decorations by her self! The wedding favors was customized scroll and with his and my picture in it! My big day was totally a great event of my life!

Just wanna share this funny text message i got to all my friends and visitors here! Read it carefully....

A Minneapolis couple decide to thaw out after a very cold winter by going to Florida where they honeymooned 20years before. Busy schedules made it so the man flew down on Friday and the wife on Saturday. When he got there they had computers in the room so he figured he would email his wife. In ERROR he left a letter out of her address and pressed the send button. In Houston a widow had gotten home from her preacher husband's funeral and checked email & fainted in the floor. When her son ran in and saw her he read the screen. It said "To my wife. I have arrived. When i checked in they told me we could send emails to our loved ones. So i am here and they are busy preparing for your arrival tomorrow. Hope your trip is as uneventful as mine was. PS sure is freaking hot down here!!! MyEm0.CoM So funny!!!!!!

Be safe!

The saying goes "There is nothing more important than protecting your home and family, right? Because now a days you can't trust anybody even your neighbors and your friends. Since we do not know when and where bad guys can attack, we need to take precautionary measures to avoid harm and danger. One way that's very good is installing a security alarm systems. At work or at home, such security detection systems can find out if there are perpetrators and bad elements around. By the way, why not check out Gaylord Security Systems. They can help you and the ones you love stay safe and secured.

My cousin's acne problem

What do people noticed of me first? Honestly speaking, my soft and smooth skin lol! I am blessed not to have pimples or acne. Even during my teenage years I've never tried using creams or any anti-acne products. But I am looking for one now. Not for me but for my cousin. She constantly complains about her pimples. It pops out especially now that she is stressed with school and life lol! She has done everything to know how to get rid of acne even tried using different acne treatments but nothing seems to work. I guess what she need is a natural acne treatment that will not harm her skin. It's a fact that other medications may cause dryness and irritations which are scary! Not to mention, there are so many acne products flooding even in the Internet all of which claims to be the safest and the best. But my cousin need not to worry. I think I found the best acne treatment that would perfectly fit her need. It's made up of natural ingredients and doesn't contain any of those harmful chemicals. This is what she needs to have that soft, smooth, fair and glowing skin like me...LOL!

Are you a soccer fan?

When I was still in the Philippines, I used to watch basketball all the time. I have my favorite team, and of course favorite player lol! When I went here in the U.S I though that I'll be even more fascinated with basketball. However, husband is not a fan, he prefers soccer and football. At first I was kinda lost, but eventually I became a fan too lol! Not to mention soccer players are more handsome and gorgeous, especially when they wear those complete suit of Soccer Gear. I really like their jersey shirts and cleated shoes, very neat and cute..hehe!

So you're a soccer fan too? Or maybe you're a soccer player? You better check out SoccerShop, your one-stop-shop for quality soccer gear and equipments for all ages. Go,go,go!

Crash Course

A Czech speedway rider who could barely complete an English sentence awoke from a crash suddenly fluent. Matej Kus, was knocked out cold when he crash and a fellow competitor ran over his head during a race in Glasgow, Scotland. Regaining consciousness nearly an hour later, he did not know who and where he was, but he spoke to the medical staff in attendance in almost flawless Englis, his promoter said. Unfortunately, Kus newfound proficiency was short-lived. Returning to his home in the Czech Republic two days later, he was also back to speaking broken English. Kus was thought to have suffered foreign accent syndrome, which can affect concussion patient. Research found that patients with this syndrome had small areas damage to the brain, which could explain the changes. The theory is that Kus' hesitation in speaking a foreign language had been released by his head injury.

Steel Buildings

Many companies rent buildings to operate their business. However, because of economic downfall, many fails to meet financial responsibilities. I've read an article about how to save money and cost-cut expenses. One very efficient way is by building an owned building. It seems ironic but it's not. When a company has its own building, it would save them a lot of unnecessary rental fees and other charges. So whether your business is into agriculture, commercial use, residential, industrial, or public facilities, consider steel buildings of your own. It's a very good investment that will surely last for many, many years.

Rocki'n the boat

My husband used to have his boat. Every summer time, we usually go to the lake to fish and sail. But since we can't do this often now, he decided to just give it to his brother who loves fishing so much. Well, we all enjoy the lake and the outdoor activities, even if what I usually do is just sit and be amazed lol! However, I noticed that there are people especially young adults who go by the lake bringing cases of bear on board. It can be harmful, dangerous and if you're from Arizona, it is illegal too! Records show that accidents while boating under the influence of alcohol is just as rampant as accidents when drinking while driving.

That's why the officers from Arizona and other nearby states conduct saturation patrols to detect and remove impaired and unsafe boaters. This saturation patrols or Boating OUI checkpoints aim to save lives and help boaters to have a fun, safe, and amazing boating experience. Well, if you are boating and some officers will wave at you, you don't have to worry if you're in good shape and condition. Anyway, to ensure that boaters can have a fun-filled boating experience, better consider taking an 8-hour boating education class near you, or you can even do this online. For more details about it, just check out on them and yes, watch this video too! winks!

Ready for Summer?

Are you ready for summer time? If you gonna ask me i am 101% ready i been looking forward for it since winter started. Anyway, i asked this because most of us right now are already planning where to go for a relaxation might be out of town or somewhere nice to spend our summer get away. Off course it is nice to think about going somewhere if our car is in good condition like for instance driving without air conditioning inside ohhh that would be a nightmare! I used to remember way back in college we had a day of hot summer field trip and the car we drove hasn't have an air conditioning compressor to think this part of the car is the most important thing. Without it? definitely you get suffer to being roasted inside, lol! Wish that car has an AC installed. So, caution better check everything first when going somewhere. And if you have a problem with your AC check this site they have large selection of discount compressor for automotive ac compressor and much more. They also offer the lowest price on a/c compressor, condenser, drier, air conditioning compressor and more.

Though I'm not with them outside because i am feeling some soreness here and there you know being further along with my pregnancy most of the time are hard to deal with. Yet i was enjoying watching them in the windows playing. At least i have my rest moment while son is out with cousins. Drive Around!

One of my greatest frustrations in life is not knowing how to drive a motorbike or at least a bike. When I was still in the Philippines, my sister and I would always begged our father to teach us how to drive. But he doesn't want to, I can't understand why! LOL! I tried to learn myself but it's so freaking hard, I just can't balance and everything! Driving for me perhaps would remain just a dream.

But hey, that's until I was able to check out these electric mobility scooters. Especially designed for the elderly or disabled, electric mobility scooter lets you enjoy every environment, whether indoors or outdoors. It is very easy to use and to maneuver through different environment such as parks or even rugged mountains and trails. I really like the 3-wheel scooters, you'd just have to sit down and no need to balance. Although these are made for the elderly but wouldn't it be nice and cute if it's me driving it? LOL!

You want a scooter? Visit Electric Scooters 4 Less and check out their great specials. They also got electrical wheelchairs, adjustable beds, etc. And yeah, they do deliver any product for free!

BAG TAG- What's in ur purse??

Oh yea! I thank Cacai for this neat tag from here I grabbed it because i kinda needed a filler so bad... lol! Cai you are my savior thank you so much for letting everyone grab this bag tag thing!

The rules of this tag is as follows:
1. Post a picture of whatever bag you are carrying as of late. No, you can't go into your closet and pull out your favorite purse! We want to know what you carried today or the last time you left the house.
2. List how much it cost. And this is not to judge. This is for entertainment purposes only. So spill it. And if there is a story to go along with how you obtained it, we’d love to hear it.
3. Tag some chicks. And link back to this post so people know why the heck you’re showing everyone your bag.
~ Please excuse that little hand there hehe, as i was taking picture of my purse and stuff inside my boy was also busy grabbing stuff he really climbed closer just to see what mommy's doing so that's all the shots i've got trying to be quick before he'll do something!~

~My simple purse~

It's time for me to pass this taggy tag to the following:

Handyman's tools

Husband is a handyman. He has his complete set of tools and drills and other stuff inside that huge attache case, lol! I'm kinda familiar with tools even when I was back home, but to be honest it's so different than what we have here in the U.S. A particular tool has its own particular function, and the size ranges from smallest to biggest. But he wants to have a new cutting tools soon since the one he have is kinda old and dysfunctional. So I told him about the online store of a premier manufacturer of high-speed steel, carbide tipped, solid carbide, and even diamond related cutting tools.

Their products are amazing! They have a huge selection of tools and drills every handyman needs. For instance, if you're into furniture making or woodworking industry, what you need would be an excellent wood boring bits. They have an extensive line of tools that provides solution for every condition of wood related materials. Husband would probably need this because he's into furniture making and wood flooring. So anyway, if you are a handyman or you need such tools, try to check out the site. Their router bits sets are many and complete, from saw blades, aluminum rougher, stainless steel cutters, drills, metal cutters, and many other cutting tools. Just see it for yourself!

This is crazy!

I'm guilty for being a certified online shopper. Most of my stuff are purchase online but there is one thing that I was also kinda addicted before, auctions! I love it everytime I won bids lol! So made a promise to myself that I would control myself doing online shopping. But you know what? This promise is about to be broken! Why? Because I found this craziest auction site where all the craziest bargains are being made. You can possible have that Playstation 3 for only $1.83 when the actual price is $399.99, imagine that! Or you want that iPod touch? You can have it for as low as $6! Of course that's if other bidders placed lower bids that yours. No wonder this auction site is taking America by storm! This sounds crazy, so see it to believe it!

I know you're excited too. Visit Penny Auction Site now! Hurry up, hurry up!

We got SNOW!

We woke up this morning with pretty whitey outside! Tennessee is blanketed with snow. So far this is the only time that we experienced quite inches of snow this year and i guess this will be the last as well. I was so excited that night watching the weather channel that our Sunday will be all white like the rest of the states around us. Exactly 1:am i got up to checked outside how's it going and i didn't even open the blinds yet i already knew it was snowing because it was so clear outside.

I get up so early (6am) with hubby and enjoyed watching the drizzled of snow gently. Took several pictures here and there. Unfortunately i didn't get a chance to go out and make a snow man and feel the snow in my hands as what i promise to myself because my little boy is sick (teething with fever) and he wants his mommy to held him! Oh well... it's OK though. Atleast we got a day of snow here nothing to complain about because I hate winter time and anticipating summer but i just love seeing everything is blanketed with white like icing thing, lol!

Photos are taken in our frontyard views.
