The man and his bikes

Here's an inspiring story I'd like to share. Way back in 2006, a guy named John Vanhara was looking for inexpensive bike for himself, since he didn't find one from the store or somewhere else, he decided to go straight to the manufacturer. Realizing that he can save more if he'd buy in bulk, he purchased 150 beach cruiser bikes. He then put up a small store and a website, within the same month, he was able to sell all the bikes except the one he kept for himself. For the next following months, he was able to continue the business and doubled his sales up to these days.

That was the humble beginnings of a very successful bicycle business. Today, people passionate with their bicycles are happy to come to this place and get to have the best cruiser bikes. They can even customized it with their chosen designs and accessories. The prices are pretty much affordable, all enthusiast can afford it. And the best part is that Mr. John Vanhara himself guarantees all his customers that they'd get the perfect bicycle according to their needs. So what are you waiting for guys? Spring is here! Finally Done!

I'm talking about my son's bedroom the painting is finally done and it looks really nice and perfect just what i wanted to be. Thanks to my sister in-law who painted it wish i could help her but in my situation i can't you know. Most of his stuff toys, his bed, and hanging things were in place now in his new room, but the rest of his toys still in the other room. We might do it i guess tonite plus i am looking for some curtains to match the theme in the room. So beside all these Kurdapyo is ready to move in his new room soon! Yepey lol!

OB's Check up!

Today is my 3rd week of going to my OB regularly every once a week since I'm almost due so it is a must. Two more Thursday and it is my schedule for delivery but we will see what the ultrasound says today if do i need to go and having the baby or what depends on my doctor also but i prefer to have it this week because i can feel the pressure already and it just getting worst yikes! Am getting nervous and anxious everyday and everything! I hope everything goes well...

So i just want to let my fellow friend bloggers and visitors as well that Kurdapya may not be updated for several days but i will be back in the lime light soon lol! I asked my sissy to still hop into your blogs everyday for me! See you around guys!! Winks.

Kurdapya's rantings

My back hurts especially now that I'm nearing my pregnancy due. I always complain most especially in the morning upon waking up. It's hard even to make up our bed because it's huge and large. I guess this is just part of being pregnant, always complaining lol! Anyway, since we have our new nursery room and Joshua has his own toddler room already, might as well renovate our room too this coming spring. Nothing much needs to be fix, just little adjustments. I hope we could change our bed. I prefer to have the sleek and minimalist type, something not bulky. Metal beds for instance, as in the king sized metal bed they look so neat and simple. Especially the como bed from time4sleep, it's seems very soft and comfortable, not to mention very romantic too lol! Well let's see, still depends on the budget. Actually there are more prioritized things. Kurdapya needs to save because she wants to travel. She wants to visit her cousin soon. And of course, we do plan to visit Philippines next year with the kids. My family back home are very excited to see our offsprings lol! Oh yeah, it is Saturday tomorrow. Calling to Philippines

I am guilty right now sure my grandma is mad and upset already because it's been awhile haven't call her or my family in the Philippines now. She always said to me even just once a week i'll be able to talk to her because she wants to hear her favorite granddaughter's voice lol! Especially right now few more weeks i am delivering our second baby they really wanted to know everything here so i need to get ready and get several Calling Cards to bring with me while am in the hospital so just anytime i can talk to my family and grandma. Ever since anyway I only use prepaid phone card because it's a lot cheaper compare to regular telephone calling, we used to have monthly bills that are so up high! So we decided to stick with the prepaid phone card for quite sometimes now. But since husband is still busy at work and me also can not go out somewhere anymore because of my belly i thought purchasing Phone Cards through online is a pretty good idea. And I already found one which they have good minutes use compare to the one i usually buy in the local store here! So might as well try it here!

My beloved first cousin in Philippines vyn or we called her "shorty" (because she's cute and short) just graduated yesterday and i am so proud of her she made it to the end. Well, i have nothing to say am hands up because she is a very smart girl not sure if she's the XUMA or MAGNA com laude(donnu if i spelled it right, pardon me if wrong)winks! But anyway i wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate her! Wish you all the best in your journey of career and love life(oi ayaw sa mag uyab uyab ha!!). I wish i was there to witness her graduation day but to bad we're million miles away. I know i owe her a gift haha! Yea will send you something just hang on there OK! Congrats vindut! muahhh... blehhhhhhhh!

Looking Forward

I am so looking forward to get our garage done this coming months so many things need to moved on the garage attic. We started painting my son's room and everything are out of place right now and we need more storage. Anyway, so husband is busy preparing the materials, the permit for our garage including of course the materials such as the vinyl shutters, concretes and stuff like that. So i can't wait!

A better choice

It feels good to know that people in general are becoming much concerned about the welfare of the society and how they can help. My Dinner lastnight!

I enjoyed my dinner last night which is seafoods. All of a sudden i was craving these stuff yesterday as all people knows i loved seafoods to the highest level of the ocean lol! So i chatted husband that i really really wanted to eat seafood otherwise I'll be miserable desperate pregnant woman kidding aside. So after work we went straight to the nearest Chinese/seafoods buffet here in town. Ohh i didn't eat much of other stuff they have other than steamed crabs and craw fish and baked salmon with rice wow i was stuffed! Our little man as well enjoying his plate he eats about everything like his mommy haha. I thank my husband so much for granting my wishful and weird cravings every now and then. Love you baby!

Just one more thing!

Oh man, we got lots of stuff after the baby shower. I have to arrange and tidy things before I give birth next month. The baby room is almost complete and ready except for the ceiling fan. The one we had was kinda old and noisy we really should get a new one. But since I refuse to roam around the mall anymore, I told husband to look for ceiling fans online instead. After all it's better because we can search for wider varieties and greater deals. Alright, I think we're all set after this. Winks!

I mentioned somewhere in my post about husband's appointment with his dentist last week. While there, we were able to talk about things that has been affecting dentist/patient relationship. He told us that because of the financial crisis, more and more people chose not to visit their dentists anymore, in a regular basis. That's why the dental field needs to look for ways and means to continue their practice. He told us about a dental software that truly brought benefits in their field. Busy as bee!

Despite my father in law is busy doing taxes right now yet at the same time he is busy beautifying his yard so it will be ready for spring and summer season. During that seasons we always have family gatherings, kids visit their grandparents you know. So lolo making sure that his backyard is a place for relaxation and fun. He make some renovation here and there including putting up a good size sink outside because they do gardening. I saw him looking for sinks online and one of his choices was the farmhouse sinks made of granite or marble. So eventually my husband the one who supervise the work will install it.

I need a Laundry Hamper

Definitely i need a laundry hamper it makes life easy. Being 8months pregnant everything are not very comfortable most particularly when doing chores. bending and lifting stuff is not advisable. That's why I always need my husband to help me carry the loads of clothes to wash once in awhile i can't hardly lift thing up but when he is at work i need to do some alternative ways you know, so I made my own pulling baskets haha! However, i saw this portable laundry hamper both a hamper and laundry cart with pop-up handle, looks like this is what i need! Hmmmm i will mention this to husband and we'll see what he gonna do.

Just Shocked!

I am sure world knows about what happened to her, the famous British dynasty actress Natasha Richardson. She passed away in a tragic death it is a severe brain injury during her skiing lesson in Canada! My goodness accident really does happened you can't just tell when and where or how! Anyway, when i first find out that she died i am one of those people that was shocked. I can't believe she's still young and it happen to be i just saw her as one of the judge in my favorite reality show top chef. She look so pretty and healthy. I like her ever since i watched the movie of parent trap with Lindsay Lohan and Dennis Quid. I bet she is one of the best actress we have right now. I feel sad for her family because it is really a devastating death hope they will just somehow recover and can moved on. Sayang naminusan na sab ang mga guapa sa mundo!

Opps! I broke it...

I am talking about my rice cooker haha! Last night when i'm fixing dinner i used my rice cooker because it is faster than using the stove you know. And i don't know what i did wrong but the buttons of cook and warm suddenly turned off and when I checked the plug it doesn't work anymore :-( good thing the rice is done already otherwise i have to transfer the rice to stove and so on so fort. Anyway, I need to replace our rice cooker immediately and since i can't go in the store so i just do some search online. Glad i found this online store, they have appliances Sale including the rice cookers hehe! It is really cheap than i thought and FREE shipping huh. The day i said I DO

I am happily married for 3 years now and all those memories in my wedding day still fresh in my mind. It was the time of my life there's no world in English can describe how much happy i am that day. I got my man and everything goes along very well. We planned the wedding very smoothly everything turned on good from wedding dresses, entourage, down to reception. It wasn't very elaborated one but i tell you it was the wedding that i dreamt of to be. My theme was simple yet classy it started from the motif of my entourage which i personally choose, a midnight blue with silver touch. The bride and groom's dresses are made of pineapple silk material all the way from Philippines. And my gown was the one really stood out that day kids thought i was a princess walking along the aisle lol! I thank my wedding planner which is my sister in-law, 100 guest fed well. She got those beautifully made wedding favors and wedding decorations by her self! The wedding favors was customized scroll and with his and my picture in it! My big day was totally a great event of my life!

EPCOT - FLORIDA

One of my dream vaca is going to Florida! I always wanted to go there ever since i came here in the state we planned few times with my husband but unforeseen circumstance not allowed us to go there YET! We all know Florida has a lot things and places to offer from beautiful white sand beaches to famous tourist attractions such Disneyland, universal studio and of course this picture I've got here EPCOT. My husband used to travel there once a year for business purposes and he told me how pretty these places are he visited to EPCOT few times and he said he wanted me to bring there as well to see what he is trying to say you know. So until now i never lose hope that one of these days our plan of going to Florida will be into a reality along with our kids of course now. I always get excited just talking about going to Florida! lol.

Falling Hair!

I always have a problem of falling hair ever since when i was still single. More so now after i got pregnant with my first child, strands of hair we're falling down i can't stand it while combing i feel like i have some kinda illness but I heard that's normal after you had your baby. But i am afraid if this will continue after my second baby is born i might loss lots of hair then! I don't want to get bald yikes! I need to know what kind of hair loss treatments i can use to prevent it of getting worst! There's a lot out there i know you can find like shampoos and all that kinda stuff but i really wanted the most effective one.

The After Math

OMG! My house right are full of mess everywhere from living room to the kitchen especially my kitchen area right now it's over loaded of baby stuff from my baby shower last night i decided to just put here for now because pretty sure the little man won't stop digging if ever i put it on the spot he can seen them! So i have to clean and organize all these stuff right now because i can't pass through to my destination haha! I had fun last night but surely putting stuff are not that fun you know i need some help here you know i guess kurdapya going to get assistant better call husband's niece she'll help putting stuff away and clean some for me. Hayz!

My cousin's acne problem

What do people noticed of me first? Honestly speaking, my soft and smooth skin lol! I am blessed not to have pimples or acne. Even during my teenage years I've never tried using creams or any anti-acne products. But I am looking for one now. Not for me but for my cousin. She constantly complains about her pimples. It pops out especially now that she is stressed with school and life lol! She has done everything to know how to get rid of acne even tried using different acne treatments but nothing seems to work. Just got home!

We just got home from the baby shower it was tiring for me yet so much fun. Food are over flowing, gifts are loaded and the crowds are mostly present than i expected. I thank all the friends and family that are present and we appreciate all in putting their time and thought into making this day in our life a special one. I was so surprised that alot of guess came over to my shower party it is really a great feeling that everyone is thinking of us in this special event of our lives. I guess i am so fortunate to have this kind of friendship, the brotherly and sisterly love they've showed to me and to my family. I just can't stop smiling and showing how much i am glad they threw me a baby shower. Baby got a lot of gifts and cards not to mention cash as well haha! Well, guess mommy can do some shopping now huh! Winks. Again i wanna say thank you so much especially to the organizer of this party!!! hugs and kisses ya'll!

Sometimes I get so tired and lazy, I don't even want to prepare our meal. Thank goodness, my father-in-law gave us an all-year-round restaurant gift cards and gift certificates. We can now dine at our favorite restaurant for free, once a month at least. Actually, I've been given several gift cards and freebies. My friends and family are so generous, I always get gifts especially now that I'm pregnant. They always pamper kurdapya lol! Thank you so much guys!

When I was still in the Philippines, I used to watch basketball all the time. I have my favorite team, and of course favorite player lol! When I went here in the U.S I though that I'll be even more fascinated with basketball. However, husband is not a fan, he prefers soccer and football. A Czech speedway rider who could barely complete an English sentence awoke from a crash suddenly fluent. Matej Kus, was knocked out cold when he crash and a fellow competitor ran over his head during a race in Glasgow, Scotland. Regaining consciousness nearly an hour later, he did not know who and where he was, but he spoke to the medical staff in attendance in almost flawless Englis, his promoter said. Unfortunately, Kus newfound proficiency was short-lived. Returning to his home in the Czech Republic two days later, he was also back to speaking broken English. Kus was thought to have suffered foreign accent syndrome, which can affect concussion patient. Research found that patients with this syndrome had small areas damage to the brain, which could explain the changes. The theory is that Kus' hesitation in speaking a foreign language had been released by his head injury.

I am so badly craving of Chinese food right now and i don't care if i will gain more weight anyway i am almost in my due date so i have nothing to worry about what kind of food goes in my belly, LOL! But since i have 5 weeks more to go in my pregnancy, Kurdapya will just get what she wants and what she likes haha! Today Chinese food is my longing so i picked up my phone and called for an order then husband will going to pick it up soon and i can't wait because hungry me already! mmmmm....

My friend getting married

The other day my close childhood friend informed me about her wedding when exactly the date she is getting married and it is final and fixed already. They have 6 months more to go for the preparation and everything including the dresses, entourage, wedding bands and as well they are looking for simple engagement rings for both of them. I can't wait for her big day to come because i promised her i will going to send some gifts! I am happy for my friend that finally she is getting married and settling down with the man of her dreams.

My husband used to have his boat. Every summer time, we usually go to the lake to fish and sail. But since we can't do this often now, he decided to just give it to his brother who loves fishing so much. Warm day!

Looks like winter is getting over soon thank goodness! Because its been a warm day today! So far the very first warm weather we got here this year. Though I'm not with them outside because i am feeling some soreness here and there you know being further along with my pregnancy most of the time are hard to deal with. Yet i was enjoying watching them in the windows playing. At least i have my rest moment while son is out with cousins. One of my greatest frustrations in life is not knowing how to drive a motorbike or at least a bike. When I was still in the Philippines, my sister and I would always begged our father to teach us how to drive. But he doesn't want to, I can't understand why! LOL! Yea Pasta! American loves pasta as we all know, they have it in every meal lunch or dinner. We got SNOW!

We woke up this morning with pretty whitey outside! Tennessee is blanketed with snow. So far this is the only time that we experienced quite inches of snow this year and i guess this will be the last as well. I was so excited that night watching the weather channel that our Sunday will be all white like the rest of the states around us. Exactly 1:am i got up to checked outside how's it going and i didn't even open the blinds yet i already knew it was snowing because it was so clear outside.

I get up so early (6am) with hubby and enjoyed watching the drizzled of snow gently. Took several pictures here and there. Unfortunately i didn't get a chance to go out and make a snow man and feel the snow in my hands as what i promise to myself because my little boy is sick (teething with fever) and he wants his mommy to held him! Oh well... it's OK though. Atleast we got a day of snow here nothing to complain about because I hate winter time and anticipating summer but i just love seeing everything is blanketed with white like icing thing, lol!
