on baby carriers

I must say that ergo baby carrier is one of the best choice parents can make for baby wearing purposes. It has a nice quality, both comfortable for parents and babies. It's also very sturdy, of course we don't wanna settle for less when it comes to stuff like this. So if you're looking for one or stuff like gears, strollers, toys, diaper bags, bath and potty, and everything else, just drop by at PeppyParents, they have plenty of good stuff, trendy, practical and affordable too which you and your baby can enjoy. Happy parenting!

so cold!

This cold weather bores me like crazy but at the same time gives me a lot of time doing what I ought to do, chores. LOL! Just sorting things here and there, the closet most especially. Got plenty of unused stuff I realized. Will be sending these anyway to the Philippines anytime soon along with some apple bottom jeans my sister's asking. Oh well, in 5 years it's my first time to experience such cold winter. Geezzzzz, so freaking cold, LOL! But compared to other parts of the country, I know it's worst.

World's highest waterfall

Angel Falls is the world's highest waterfall, the name it self means "waterfall of the deepest place", meaning "the fall from the highest point" and the waterfall is in Venezuela. The height of it is 979 m (3,212 ft) and a plunge of 807 m (2,648 ft).

The height of the fall is so great that, before getting anywhere near the ground, much of the water is evaporated or carried away as a fine mist by the strong wind. The base of the falls feeds into the Kerep River (alternatively known as the Río Gauya), which flows into the Churun River, a tributary of the Carrao River.

Angel Falls is one of Venezuela's top tourist attractions, but, a trip to the falls is a complicated affair. The falls are located in an isolated jungle of Venezuela, and a flight from Puerto Ordaz or Ciudad Bolívar is required to reach Canaima camp, the starting point for river trips to the base of the falls. Accordingly river trips generally take place from June to December, when the rivers are deep enough for the wooden curiaras used by the Pemon guides. During the dry season (December to March) there is less water seen than in the other months.

Now am so curious how to get there and explore the beauty of the falls! But, sure indeed it is a hard trip to do alright!

Been there

One of my favorite thing to do online other than shopping is going to an online auction site. Was lucky enough to won several stuff like watches and jewelries, it is really good bargain you know sometime you are lucky to get that thing in such very cheap price and knowing how valuable is that when you buy it in stores. You can even find some authentic stuff from the online auction... how cool is that? Anyway, i am thinking again to do some auctioning one of these days maybe i can find another treasure again. Wink!

What's your thing?

I mean, what's your favorite gadget or toy? Some chooses their cellphones, computers, laptops. Mine would be our SLR camera, I consider it to be our best buy this year. While others too loves binoculars, telescopes and sights like laser sights and eotech 512. My brother back home loves binoculars, but because it's expensive it took him a lot of saving before he got a pretty good one. So I'm pretty much sure that the one he got is just given to him, lol! Anyway, if you do love such stuffs too, there are lots of great deals these days. Just let your fingers do the shopping.

Tree watching

All the trees around the hood are withered right now, all I can see are dead branches and that's it. Still they're beautiful, standing in its ground even if it rains or snow. One of these days, if I can bare the cold outside, would love to take pictures of them. Anyway, makes me look forward to spring too, though it's still months away. Will plant more trees in the backyard to add more shade. I'd like to have a ginkgo tree in particular. Saw some somewhere and their rich green color which turns to a brilliant yellow during fall are lovely. Definitely I'd like to have it in our yard.

Avista once more

As we all know, Avista is one of the best resorts in Myrtle beach. Why, because it provides their guess an outstanding opportunity to have a truly unforgettable vacation. This Myrtle beach hotel has complete amenities, recreational areas, indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi and so much more. I bet their food and cuisine here too are so taste-bud friendly. What's also nice is that, since it's oceanfront, a visitor can be closer to nature and appreciate the beach, the Grand Strand even more. Another thing too is that, for those who loves to shop and roam around, and just wander, the entire place has something wonderful to offer. Restaurants, shopping centers, parks, and amusements, those are just a few of the surprises in store for you.

So if you wanna be among the more than 13million visitors there annually, why not plan your getaway as early as now. You can do so by phone or visit their website at http://avistaresort.com. And oh by the way, the world's best tee time courses are also available here so that's something you can try also. Winks!

Istanbul's mini mansions

Wooden birdhouses are seen in many parts of the world. They are ideal places for birds to feed, keep warm, make a nest, raise young, and gain protection from predators and the elements. In Istanbul, birdhouses have been designed to look like full-sized structures. Some resemble mansions, others mosques or palaces. They are known as pigeonaries, bird mansions, and even sparrow palaces.
The oldest of these birdhouses date at least as far back as the 15th century, and they incorporate Ottoman architecture. They are simple structures, but starting in 18th century, birdhouses become grand, luxurious residences. Some had receptacles for food and water, walkways, and even balconies where the birds could , as it were, take in the view. These houses were usually positioned side of the building that got the most sun and provided the best shelter from the wind-far away from the reach of cats, dogs, and people. Sometimes these features were added not just for the sake of the birds but to decorate the building as part of its overall design. Birdhouses can be seen on the sides of mosques, as well as on public drinking fountains, libraries, bridges, and private homes.

Sadly, many of those miniature mansions have deteriorated under the constant barrage of the elements, while others have been intentionally destroyed by people who did not recognized their value. Birdhouses are seen less and less. However, if you visit Istanbul and you have a taste for historical architecture, see if you can spot these delicate structures nestled in the eaves. Now that you know what they are, noticing these mini mansions will enrich your visit to the city.

weekend rant

I've been ranting alot about how happy I am with my diet program so far. It's because I can't help it. But you know what, the problem is the product am using is from the Philippines, and now am almost running out of it. So I thought maybe there's something quite the same here, in the herbal store. What am using is a herbal beverage, there is and some other herbal diet pills too. I might give it a try but also don't wanna compromise too. I already found the one that works so well and will definitely stick to it.

But oh yeah, it's weekend so it's my diet holiday..lol! Have fun guys, be a blessing always!

I wonder what's happening to my laptop lately, been acting pretty weird. Can't blame it though for I neglected it for several months already. Then now that the son is using my desktop, have no choice but turn the lappy on again. It's so dysfunctional, LOL! Anyway, I need to check out some Wholesale Insurance first, just curious on something. Well have to be quick here before this lappy breaks down or before my patience runs out. Oh poor thing, need to fix this soon. It's still a laptop anyway.

Missouri Getaway

Anyone out there wants to visit Missouri for the weekend? Or maybe for the coming holidays? You gotta check out Branson Missouri vacation packages to experience nothing but the best travel and relaxation the place has to offer. We pretty much know a lot about this place because it's famous, some of my friends been there already. Wish I can travel like my thoughts do, if that's the case then I've already been around the globe. Oh well, another wishful thinking this cold weather brings into me, lol!

Let it snow....

Yes as of this moment we are having some snow flurries and hoping this will last till the rest of the day so by tomorrow we have a white morning. I admit i hate winter but looking forward for snow occasionally i loved the beauty of outside when it is blanketed of snow here and there! Here in our state we hardly get pretty amount of snow, just like last maybe once or trice but am not satisfied i hardly go outside because i was just having a baby then. So this time of season i am so looking forward to play with snow and take some nice shots if possible with my Nikon cam! So hopefully will snow more until tomorrow! If so this will be our first one this year. Wink!

Heard of?

Have you ever heard of tonalin? A new word I encountered, just this morning actually. Was reading about diet stuff and looking for low fat recipes when this word came in. Accordingly, when you're into weight lose, it's expected to have those saggy and flabby arms and muscles. That's why you need to exercise to lean down and shape up. But with the help of tonalin cla, which naturally increases muscles and reduce body fat, the process of toning up will be much easier and faster. Sounds good. Another nice information especially helpful to those into diet like me, lol!

My question is how to lose belly fat fast? LOL! I'm so happy with my weight lose progress right now that my love for taking pictures of "ME" has stricken again. But the problem is my belly fat. They say that it's the last thing to show progress but what can I do to speed it up? Crunches and sit-ups? That would be so exhausting, lol! I wonder if those stuff I see on TV, the one like a padding thing wrap around the belly really works. Have anyone of you out there already tried that thing? Anyway, patience is a virtue. What's important is am losing weight. Winks!

Are you ready to ramble?

I am, anytime, anywhere! That's if money isn't an issue though lol! I mean who wouldn't say yes to traveling and roaming around? It's one of life's greatest pleasure. Meeting new people, going to exciting and distant places and experiencing new things. But am not talking about me here, and my many wishes. Am saying this to those who want to travel especially during the holidays. Whitsunday Holidays is inviting you to behold its beauty and experience the wonderful things it has to offer. These 74 islands set amidst coral reefs and magnificent waterways are famous not just among Australians but for tourist all across the world.

Get to enjoy some lovely shore tours like Daydream island hop, the great barrier reef hop, and many more. There are other fun activities too, like the crocodile safari, Whitsundays camel, and tropical rainforest adventure. If I get to experience even one of these, I'd pick the island hopping experience because it makes you see the whole place and you'll get to appreciate more of its beauty. I bet you too. So if you're ready to ramble, why not visit Whitsunday and have the best time of your life, winks!

I'm so glad it's Friday again tomorrow, which only means one thing.. here is weekend. The reason why am happy is because it's only during weekend's I allow myself to not think about my diet, haha! Every Saturday is my freedom day and for now I look forward to eating 'Adobo in Cocosauce.'(coconut milk) :D

I haven't tried this recipe yet but according to mama, it's yummy. I mean, coconut milk in your adobo, that should be fun! Anyways, here are the ingredients:

3 cups pork r chicken, cut into serving pieces
garlic & onion chopped
flavorings(a lil soysauce and sugar) salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup coconut milk

how to:

1. In a casserole, combine the meat, garlic, onions, flavorings, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat. When the sauce starts to boil. lower the heat and simmer.

2. When the meat is half-cooked, add the coconut milk. Stir once in a while to prevent the sauce from sticking to the pan.

3. Continue cooking until the meat is tender and the sauce is slightly thick.

4. Remove from heat and steamed rice.

yummy! Will show some pics after I do this, lol!

like my job

Being a blogger is indeed a blessing. I mean, when I got pregnant with my first child I thought that I could not have a job for a period of time. But blogging knocked in my door and I should say that it's one of the best jobs in the world. It isn't that stable compared to working full-time but sure it helps much. Of course it's not as simple as it seems to be, need to work out our butt right bloggers? But yeah, it's fun and a very nice way to keep track of your thoughts, opinions and life in general. Plus it allows me to meet friends online, other mommies too who enjoys blogging as much as I do. Winks!

About Hosting

The husband recently launched a new company website that the admin is my husband itself. It's an online newspaper, a classified add corner for everyone who wants to get a buzz and be heard. He's put a lot of work into this job, but I can say it's all worth it. Now I wanna do my share. Helping him out with the exposure and traffic. I'm thinking of something like managed hosting and other stuff as well. Just glad that there are helpful links that provides us with the much needed tips and tricks. If it weren't for them, it'll be much harder and inconvenient. Indeed, maintaning a website is a difficult thing to do, looks easy but sure it's effort and a lot of patience. Good job to the hubby for doing so, winks!

Outer Banks Fun

I haven't been to that place but I've seen some friends of mine who did. They surely had fun time especially because they went for some Outer Banks vacation rentals. Different compared to staying at hotels, vacation rentals gives you the comfort and feel of home. It's really nice for families or group of friends traveling together. A beautiful beach house with complete amenities and yet affordable. In my part though, wish to visit there someday. I'd like go and see the beach and the nature. Where I can see people just relaxing, walking with their bare feet and enjoying life. Oh well, that's what vacation is all about after all. Happiness and fun!

Review on Lipofuze

Have you heard about Lipofuze already? If you're interested about this weight loss product, it would be nice to find out more about it. How does it work? Is it safe? How does it compare to other diet supplements? Are there any side effects? Such questions needs to be answered first before deciding to take any drug whatever it is isn't it? On a second note, I wanna have a diet holiday once a week. Am thinking of every Saturday's,lol! Just to add more fun during the weekend. Winks!

coincidence?

I'm not sure as you whether you already read this email or not yet. But since this is my first time and I find it interesting and a little creepy too, am gonna share it with you. Creepy in the sense that a big deal of coincidence was apparently present or maybe well yeah, maybe it's just plain and simple coincidence..haha! Anyway, here it goes..

Abraham Lincoln & John F. Kennedy

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln .

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln , was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln , was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln ' made by 'Ford.'

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here's the kicker..

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe , Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

Need drums?

I do in my farm in Farm Town, lol! Seriously, those sturdy, functional containers are really useful in lots of ways. Ever wonder where can you buy them? There's a website that provides just so. MSM has the widest selection of barrels and steel drums made of organic and recyclable materials. And because it's stainless steel, we can be sure that it's non toxic and more durable than others. If you need some or lots, just visit their site. Anyway, now it's Sunday night and tomorrow again is the start of the week. How time flies by so fast. Let's all have a fruitful week ahead, enjoy every bit of it with our loved ones. Winks!

Getting some

I need to get some colon cleansers soon because as you all know, am taking a diet product lately and I want to flush whatever not so good chemicals, if there's any. I mean, am not feeling any side effects though, just that I wanna be sure and cleansers is a good way to do it. After all taking CC every six months is actually recommended. Cause whatever we eat, becomes junk eventually inside our body and it's good to flush them out. Will be sending some CC to the family back home too, along with other health products to help everyone of us stay health and happy. Have a great weekend guys!

As good as new..

It is about my balikbayan package that i sent 6 months ago to my family in PH. Finally they got it the other day after 48years hostage/hold at the carrier i sent to. At first we all worried if the box is broken or if the stuff got stolen it's just so hard not to think bad things happened to my box knowing the inside is so important to me and for my family as well ofcourse to the recipients of the goods. However, it was nice to know that the box is in good condition, the boxes of shoes and several purses are still as good as new! But i promised i would never ever send to that carrier anymore again, just charge to experience! They are not very good business people, indeed. Anyway, now i could breath good and out of stress! Thank God!

On the second note i was too busy this week i realized i haven't been here until today and must updates here and there again. But honestly am losing my thoughts, lacking of sleep is one big reason. On Trophies

Professionally or not, once in a while it's nice to participate in some kind of sports or any activity. It's a good way to relax the mind and uplift the spirit. Not to mention, when you do it as a family, it's a great way to bond to. So if ever you plan of joining a play or organizing a tournament, why not make it more special by giving away sport trophies or anything like a token. It may not be the real thing but the important thing is, it's a reminder that you won the game. Oh well, talking about this stuff makes me remember my collage days. Used to play bowling at our PE class. I miss it, those were the days. Why not play bowling here, I wonder if I still know how, haha!

Shopaholic confessions

I admit, sometimes when am feeling down and missing home, I'd just hit the keyboard and shop. It's like a therapy for me, so as going to the grocery lol! The good thing is, I don't feel bad every so often and the impulse to shop is controllable. Just lately though, I find myself browsing for some evening dresses, haha! Why? Well am not going to a party or whatever. Just that I think, with my weight loss progress now, I deserve to have a nice, pretty dress as a reward. Seriously, am so getting there. Few more weeks and hopefully I can reach my desired weight. I can't believe this is actually happening because I started my diet like a month ago and the results are really fast. Anyway, now am in the mood for shopping because am smiling, lol!

Update from home

Just chatted with my sissy and they told me that our cousin's wife is on the way to giving birth to their first baby. Gonna be anytime soon and all our relatives are excited. It's a baby boy and that adds to the excitement. I wonder if they're throwing a surprise or whatever. Here in the States, birth announcements are totally a big deal. Friends and family organize baby showers which really helps new parents because of the baby stuff they're getting. Anyway, am excited too! A new addition to our huge clan back home. To the parents to be, congratulations, a child is truly a blessing. Winks!

A week ago I was already worried about the box I've sent to the Philippines. It's way too over-due and believe me, it's not funny anymore! My shipment date was last May, it's supposed to Arrive around July but according to them the the shipment was delayed and for couple of weeks. Fine, it was alright I understand it. Then I already received the tracking number and things were doing good, really expecting it to arrived there last week of September. But until now, there's no trace of the box whatsoever! Oh men, I think I need to get myself the best anti-wrinkle cream for this thing drives me crazy! What's taking it so long? Has anyone of you ever experience delayed shipments? My goodness, where's the box? Ok i have to call the agent once again today and will going to fuss at them if i needed to! Grrrr so mad right now!

Insomniacs

Are you? It's not funny when you really like to sleep, and your eyes are so heavy and complaining yet your mind is there, flying and wondering. There are times when insomnia hits me and I know sometimes it hits you too. Good thing is, on my part I don't take any medications to catch my sleep back, I guess mine isn't that serious yet. But for those who are, it's better if they consult from the expert or find an all natural sleep aids to help them relax their mind and have a sound sleep. People who work late at nights are especially prone to insomnia. This may cause mood swings, head aces, and stress if they don't get to sleep when they should have to.

It could not be

I just found out that mom's friend back home is having some health problems and until now he still has no idea what is it. They said that it all started from ordinary cough, right now he's having difficulty in breathing, becomes weak so easily and sudden unexplained weight loss. I still don't know all the details but they say it's some kinda poisoning or chemical exposure. Oh, it could not be Mesothelioma diagnosis! You know, the asbestos poisoning? I might check out more about this disease. Well I don't know the guy personally but I hope it isn't that serious.

About Acne

I know that having acne and pimples makes someone feel bad and insecure. My brother, my cousin, they used to have acne all over their face and yes, it did made them sad. I guess that for some, when they reach that certain age, teenage years in particular that's when pimples and acne really show up. And for someone who have it, they'll be so interested about acne medications, treatments, and whatever solution. But some treatment work out to some while does not to others, it really depends. As for my brother and cousin, eventually they found the best solution to it and said goodbye to pimples.

LOL, to farming again! i admit i was totally over with the games i played in facebook for almost a year now and i know it is quite awhile already i still remembered my withdrawal moment it was right after i started my online business which is my online store. I was so busy with everything that the last thing in my mind is playing to my virtual games, they're 4 of them that i was really hooked into... yoville, cafe world, social city and of course farm town. But after months of hectic time i realized i need to relax and just be myself i forgot to take a break and that's the reason why i get so stress so i thought of chilling down and maybe one of the thing to do is play farm town..lol! Silly thing right? Just playing it again 2weeks ago at least i know i can managed my time good exactly what i wanna be. Just playing whenever i get a chance of course family is my priority and my household routine you know.

Maximize those funds

Am talking about companies here. For a company to grow and widen out, a sure way to achieve it is by increasing its capital and funds. But sometimes it's really hard to depend on banks alone for they require some complicated criteria. So the solution? asset based lenders like 1st Commercial Credit offers help to undercapitalized businesses. They do so by using a company's account receivable and inventory as collateral. Sounds interesting isn't it? You sure can learn more about it if you visit them online. And feel free to request a quote if you need it.

The Hummingbird's Tongue

Was it designed? Consider: The hummingbird does not waste energy by sucking flower's nectar into his mouth. Rather, it takes advantage of the cohesive forces that cause water on a flat surface to bead up and defy gravity. When a hummingbird's tongue makes contact with nectar, the surface of the liquid forces the bird's tongue to curl into the shape of a tiny straw, and the nectar is drawn upward. In essence, the hummingbird avoids unnecessary effort by letting the nectar force itself up the straw and toward the mouth. During feeding, hummingbirds can refill their tongue with nectar up to 20 times a second!

This "self-assembling siphon" has also been observed in some shorebirds, which drink water in a similar way. Commenting on this ability, Professor Mark Denny of Stanford University, in California observes: "The combination of engineering, physics, and applied math is just wonderful...If you took any engineer or applied mathematician and told them to design a way for a bird to get water from its break to its mouth, they wouldn't have thought of this one".

The question is... What do you think? Did the hummingbird's tiny tongue- with its ability to collect nectar rapidly and efficiently- come about by chance? Or was it designed?

Happy me!

What makes me smiling now? Well lot of things to be thankful and happy about, one of which is my weight loss progress. I started just two weeks ago and I must say that am really doing good, lol! Indeed, diets that work fast do exist and it's true because now I can wear the pants that used to be so impossible for me. LOL! The last time I wore it was before I got pregnant with my second child, then I just threw it inside the closet, wondering if I can ever wear it again. And yes, I made it! This is really so cool, am so excited to share this with everyone but maybe later. More pounds to shed in a couple more weeks and well, I'm finally realizing my goal. Winks!

Online Math Tutor

Having math problems? When I was still in school, mathematics was the subject I hated the most. Problem solving, equations, algebra, calculus, name it, none of them was friendly to me LOL! They constantly gave me head ace and stress. The good thing is I didn't fail any of them though, no matter how difficult that was. Those were the days. But when I come to think of it, my issues with math was because I didn't try to like math in the first place. Maybe if I gave math the opportunity to show its better side, I could have an easier time by then. My advice to students who are having trouble with the subject too, ask for help. There are people who feels the opposite and simply loves mathematics. They can teach you, at least support you explore the subject.

And right now, there are online math tutoring available for you. That's what Tutor Vista offers, the world's leading tutoring company. For instance, 4th grade math, algebra 2, 5th grade math, adding fractions, formula for volume, so on and so forth, students can find all the assistance 24/7, whenever, wherever they are. It's really a good website. The price is very reasonable too and it caters all degrees and mathematical problems. Why don't you try it? I'm pretty sure math can be fun too!

For anyone whose into weight lose and diet, the one million dollor question would be "how to reduce body fat percentage?" LOL! Women According to Geogrqphy

Between 18 and 20 a woman is like Africa, half discovered, half wild, naturally beautiful with fertile deltas.

Between 21 and 30 a woman is like America, well developed and open to trade, especially for someone with cash.

Between 31 and 35 she is like India, very hot, relax, and convinced of her own beauty.

Between 36 and 40 a woman is like France. Gently aging but still a warm and desirable place to visit.

Between 41 and 50 she is like Yugoslavia, lost the war- haunted by past mistakes. Massive reconstruction is now necessary.

Between 51 and 60 she is like Russia, very wild and borders are unpatrolled. The frigid cliamte keeps people away.

Between 61 and 70, a woman is lile Mongolia, with a glorious and all conquering past but alas, no future.

After 70, they become Afganistan. Most everyone knows where it is, but no one wants to go there.

I just found out that japanese cuisine is not bad infact right now they are one of my favorite food next to Korean food. Before i wasn't really interested with their cuisines not until our recent trip to Philippines we had a layover in Seoul, Korea for 16hours so what did you expect us to do on that long period of time? Well, we got a chance to roamed around the vicinity of the airport i tell you it is the biggest and huge shopping place on the planet. Anyway of course we get hungry you know...lol! So instead going to American or Italian restaurant we all agreed to have Korean restaurant what the sense we are at Korea you know haha and there we ordered several good looking food on the menu. Oh my goodness right then when i have the first bite, i fell in love with the food right away it is a perfect combination of sweetness, spiciness, saltiness and a kick that you would love it just melt on your mouth kinda feeling. The plate is so colorful with all the food arts they put, kimchi was a good one! Have you ever tried kimchi yet? if not better try some. Am not trying to be exaggerated but it is true and those who love their cuisines can relate me by now! So after those experienced every now and then i ask the husband to eat at Korean resto can't help to crave their yummy and inviting food! Now i feel like going to Korea for a Vaca... hmmm well who knows, LOL!

Just hopping through websites and thought of featuring the glass tiles store. It might not work anymore the moment it reach there. If I only know, I'll never choose that carrier. Now am so getting impatient. Sigh.

Falls just recently started and we can see some of the trees are lifeless at all! Here's some of the pictures i took while the husband is driving. We went to the lake and park 30minutes drive away from home but it took us longer because of stopping here and there for me just to snap shot a spot! wink.

It's not even funny

To read and see all those advertisements on the best diet pills flooding my inbox right now lol! It makes me confused, so better yet not try it. I'd still go for the natural method in losing weight, diet and exercise. But why is it that every time I see weight loss programs, I bookmark the page? Well maybe because I know that some day, I might need some information from them. Who among you does the same? If you're into losing weight, am quite sure you can relate with me.. haha!

Flies by so fast. I can't even believe we just came home from a vacation! Now the end of the year is fast approaching. Am beginning to see outdoor Christmas decorations already. The breeze is getting colder and colder and before we know it, another year has passed by. Just can't help but smile. Lots of good times and happy moments that seemed to be just a dream, and to me it came true. I know it's still to early to think of it, but definitely I'm looking forward to what's in store for me, for us next year. Indeed, time flies by so quickly.

Convenient way to shop

Online shopping wasn't part of my vocabulary, not until I moved here in the States. The husband introduced it to me for his a certified one. I used to be so skeptical because knowing myself, I gotta get the product that meets my standard. But then I tried, and ever since then I came to love shopping online LOL! What makes it more exciting? Because your options are limitless. You can hop by different shops with just a few clicks and their products are unique along with great deals and special offers. You just got to make sure of the source so you won't be disappointed you know. Speaking of, Shopwiki is among the leading choice for online shopping. It works like a search engine. Anything you want from appliance, home goods, beauty prioducts, apparels, car seats for babies and toddlers, convertible car seats, toys, electronics, name it they got it!

I've tried dropping by their site several times and through them I've met my favorite shops in the internet. I just love this kinda thing! It inspired me to make an online shop for myself, my business nowadays. Winks!

The Brooklyn Bridge

Do you know the story behind the spectacular Brooklyn Bridge that stands today? Found out about it just now and loves to share it with you. An inspiring story of a man who never had a doubt of the power of his dreams...

In 1883, a creative engineer
named John Roebling was inspired by an idea to build a spectacular bridge
connecting New York with the Long Island. However bridge building experts
throughout the world thought that this was an impossible feat and told
Roebling to forget the idea. It just could not be done. It was not
practical. It had never been done before.

Roebling could not ignore the
vision he had in his mind of this bridge. He thought about it all the time
and he knew deep in his heart that it could be done. He just had to share
the dream with someone else. After much discussion and persuasion he managed
to convince his son Washington, an up and coming engineer, that the bridge
in fact could be built.

Working together for the
first time, the father and son developed concepts of how it could be
accomplished and how the obstacles could be overcome. With great excitement
and inspiration, and the headiness of a wild challenge before them, they
hired their crew and began to build their dream bridge.
The project started well, but
when it was only a few months underway a tragic accident on the site took
the life of John Roebling. Washington was injured and left with a certain
amount of brain damage, which resulted in him not being able to walk or talk
or even move.

"We told them so."

"Crazy men and their crazy dreams."

"It`s foolish to chase wild visions."

Everyone had a negative
comment to make and felt that the project should be scrapped since the
Roeblings were the only ones who knew how the bridge could be built. In
spite of his handicap Washington was never discouraged and still had a
burning desire to complete the bridge and his mind was still as sharp as
ever.
He tried to inspire and pass
on his enthusiasm to some of his friends, but they were too daunted by the
task. As he lay on his bed in his hospital room, with the sunlight streaming
through the windows, a gentle breeze blew the flimsy white curtains apart
and he was able to see the sky and the tops of the trees outside for just a
moment.
It seemed that there was a
message for him not to give up. Suddenly an idea hit him. All he could do
was move one finger and he decided to make the best use of it. By moving
this, he slowly developed a code of communication with his wife.

He touched his wife's arm
with that finger, indicating to her that he wanted her to call the engineers
again. Then he used the same method of tapping her arm to tell the engineers
what to do. It seemed foolish but the project was under way again.
For 13 years Washington
tapped out his instructions with his finger on his wife's arm, until the
bridge was finally completed. Today the spectacular Brooklyn Bridge stands
in all its glory as a tribute to the triumph of one man's indomitable spirit
and his determination not to be defeated by circumstances. It is also a
tribute to the engineers and their team work, and to their faith in a man
who was considered mad by half the world. It stands too as a tangible
monument to the love and devotion of his wife who for 13 long years
patiently decoded the messages of her husband and told the engineers what to
do.

What the world needs to know

About Multiple sclerosis or MS. Pretty much you know about this certain kind of disease already. But did you know that some categories of people are more likely to acquire it while others are not prone. Studies shows that people who lived farther away from the equater has more chances of having it like those from Canada. On the other hand, ethenticities like Hispanic, African Americans, and Native Indians seem to have a natural immunity. The reason? Well, the skin that's exposed to the sun which develops more vitamin D are not inclined to develop MS.

It means that a healthy daily dose of vitamin D is a good MS treatment along with proper MS diet and lifestyle. Kinda interesting to find out facts about MS. People who lives in a warm climate sometimes takes the sun for granted and even complain how cruel it is. But apparently, having the sun in your skin is a good thing after all. What do you think?

A free weight loss program, raise your hands! I bet there's a bunch. Weight loss programs are kinda expensive you know, especially the ones being promoted by health experts and celebrities. Some programs cost a fortune and just thinking about the price makes you skinny already, lol! Anyway, the best thing to do is read the reviews first, after all it's free. There are options to choose depending on your lifestyle and diet. And if you're lucky enough, you'll find the one that really does the job of helping you shed those extra pounds. Winks!
