Last update for tonight! My box is finally set. It will be ship back home pretty soon and the family is so looking forward and excited to receive the goodies. Hope they will like what I've gathered for them, lol! But I guess I should send a ball pein hammer too. I'm sending a jewelry-making and beading kit for an aunt. I've had this stuff for a year already because I was planning to do personalized jewelries and accessories but I couldn't find time for it. Since my aunt loves this kind of stuff, she's very creative, making her own purses, shoes, and accessories too. I know this material will help her a lot and she'll have a fun time doing pretty stuff. I just hope the weather will cooperate so that we can drive the box to the courier, this weekend perhaps. OK done now. Goodnight!

Feeling the sunshine

After the long morning preparing and cooking food for 14 counts at lunch earlier at the husband's office. Kids and I and their cousin went outside shortly after lunch time we feeling the breeze and sunshine. Just relaxing after my busy morning. Kids were riding their bicycles and screaming like crazy people, lol. At least they are having fun even though every one is busy in tax season. Hope the weather will cooperate tomorrow so we'll continue our fun outside otherwise we'll be stuck inside again! Well, got to go now... really tired and my body is so ready to take a beauty rest. Chatting with the family back home, I learned that my younger cousin is serious in learning to play a musical instrument. Guitar in particular. She said it's part of their school curriculum and she's so happy about it. The guitar her father bought a few years ago is finally putting to good use now. I'm glad that we have a family member who knows how to serenade good music someday. If we can get a vacation there someday, I'll definitely as her to play music for us, she should be an expert by then, lol! Since I saw some really good deals on leather guitar strap, might as well grab one for her. To take her learning to the next level, guitar accessories and songs books can help along the way. She's got all the family's support and backing on this one. I bet my sister is jealous for she's a frustrated musician, lol!

Hmmm yummy isn't it?? Mouth watering fried pickle! Number one of my favorite appetizers ever. I discovered this when i was watching the travel channel featured the best fried paradise across the US and one of those was the fried pickle i wouldn't have known that you can fried pickles but looks so good so i promised that i will surely find where to buy it but i tried to cook one time it turn good and since the i am addicted to it. Moreover, one of the local restaurant is serving the best fried pickle i've ever taste. Wink!

Mabinay caves

My sister spent almost 3 weeks in a vacation, so unfair! I bet she had another wonderful time again. This time, they went to Mabinay caves. Well, Mabinay is located in the interior part of Negros Oriental, Philippines. My brother lives in Dumaguete, 86 kilometers, (almost 2 hours ride) from Mabinay. Along with the gang, they went there exploring the caves. Mabinay has 400 caves actually, only 8 are opened for the public. The tour is divided in 3 categories, beginners, advanced, and extreme. Beginners as they are, they went exploring 3 caves. According to my sissy, it was a long, tiring, yet exciting 3-hour tour. The best for her was the second cave which was extremely dark, slippery, and muddy! If it wasn't for the flashlights, they wouldn't be able to see each other and be lost in the dark. That's very thrilling I bet. But if you want to see the the beautiful stalagmites and stalactites formations, with all the glittering crystals, the 3rd cave is the one. On summer they're looking forward to go there again and try the 'advanced.' A whole day tour that that takes visitors to even more exciting caves that leads to an underground river. Whoaa! That's so cool!

Could be Fiji

As much as I've learned to love the countryside, the only exception is there's no beach nearby. The last time I got a taste of it was more than a year ago when we went home to the Philippines and spent several days in a resort with my loved ones. It was nice but nothing like a dream beach getaway. I know it could be just a wishful thinking but someday soon, provided the ways and means, something grand should come our way. At Korean Resto

Had a wonderful lunch meal at Korean restaurant in Huntsville, Alabama. We're tired and ready to eat lunch after the 2 hours and half strolling at the space & rocket center. We loved Korean food so decided to headed over there for lunch. The husband ordered his spicy marinated beef meanwhile i had the delish beef ribs soup or kalbi- tang in Korean menu. It was tasty and so refreshing on a cold rainy afternoon. I always enjoy the Korean condiments as well specially the kimchi! Not to mention their rice so perfect! Wink!

Sleeping on the Road

When I am on the road, I like to know where I am going to be sleeping and how comfortable it’s going to be. One night crammed into a small hotel room with 11 other people is enough to make you think your plans through a bit more. I’ve spent any nights like that so I don’t take chances anymore.

If you want perfect comfort than rent a high class hotel room. I don’t have the money for that and I don’t think that gives you a real experience. If you are going to rent a hotel room then your own pillow with you. Hotel pillows are junk so I suggest travelling with a pillow you know you like. I roll up a memory foam pillow nice and tight and tie it that way. Now I know I always have at least a pillow with me even if I don’t find a bed for the night. The worldly traveler knows the value that hostels provide. Some people are scared of staying in hostels. In general, hostels are good places to stay for cheap. If you do stay in a hostel, lock up all of your valuables and keep a close eye on your wallet. You will be sharing a room with other people. Sometimes things can get a bit cramped and your credit cards may take a walk. You’ll most likely be sleeping on a set of bunk beds or a cot. If you ever sleep on an old cot in a hostel then you will be excited to see a set of twin bunk beds. Don’t dismiss them as something for kids. They can be an oasis for your back.

Look into home exchanges. A home exchange is when you open your home up to someone from another country in exchange for them doing the same. You may end up in the guest room or you may end up in the master bedroom. This is a great arrangement as you are giving someone an even trade of space and can sleep in a real bed rather than on a cot or set of full bunk beds with a mattress that hasn’t been flipped since the USSR fell. Don’t ever exchange money but make sure to exchange all of your personal information and check them out. Don’t want to come home from your trip to a cleared out house.

I can really tell how the husband is excited to get his truck overhaul done! He is now fixing the inside and the body but in order to get it finish in no time he must have a welding machine. So fortunate, got a pretty great deal with a coupon for a welder including the welding helmet which he really needed it to complete the work. In addition those welding set he purchased would be a big help for his hobbies not to mention he loves to do stuff like the really manly thing. Just check the tracking and it's on the way. Now waiting for the mailman to deliver it because I'll be the one signing the delivery confirmation because he at the office!

It was raining the whole time we drove over there and more so when we're close to the facilities pouring so hard but all was worth the drive because the experienced was amazing! Weekend get-away cut short

This past week, I was very glad luck was on my side. My husband and I had gone out of town for a long weekend. We had been looking forward to the break for a long time and we were very excited when it was finally here. The weekend started out wonderful. We had a couple massage from the resort spa. We were able to hang out by the pool and enjoy some delicious food. However, my cell phone rang and the relaxation of the weekend came to an end. Apparently, one of our Home Alarm systems had gone off and someone had tried to break into the house. Suddenly a horrible feeling came over me and all I wanted to do was get home as soon as possible. I was worried about the damage and worried about what might have been taken. When we pulled into the drive, I jumped out of the car and ran inside to find everything there. The police had caught the men in time and all our belongings were exactly as they were when we left. We were very lucky and I am so thankful.

US Space Rocket Museum

It's almost weekend again! The family have plans going on for this weekend we are going to visit the space rocket museum in Alabama before the next week comes otherwise we can't go at least before that time busy ahead will take over in few months. The get away was cancelled despite that's what i was looked forward to but priority must be the first thing to consider i rather send the expenses to my family in PH to help whatever to use that monetary thingy for as we know some close places still affected by that sendung typhoon happened weeks ago. Food are affected accordingly! So sacrificing my last two minutes vacation is not a big deal will just have to do it another time soon. Meanwhile, we are still visiting Alabama though just an hour drive! Wink!

Is officially here. I bet everyone will be busy sorting things out. In the office the guys will be so busy as well and for this season I will be helping them out. I'm pretty much excited for my job actually, it's been years since I reported in an office, lol! Am not gonna be working full-time though, just several days in a week because i have 2 kiddos to take care also well at least 3days in a week though. Definitely not bad for a mommy like me. Anyway, one of the things that clients might find hard to track is Rental Income Expenses. But through the help of some spreadsheets available over the internet, tracking your rental income and expenses throughout the entire year will be just easy. Well, no doubt tax time is one of those busiest days of the year and kinda stressful too. But anyway, we gotta do what we ought to do, to reap the rewards also. Winks!

Traveling sure is fun especially if it will provide you with the opportunity to relax unwind and spend time with your family. While you are busy planning for this much deserved trip, keep in mind that it is very important not to neglect your responsibilities at home.

If you will be gone for about a week or two, make a list of the things around the house that needs to be checked before you leave. This will provide you with the peace of mind especially if you’re going out of town or traveling to a different country. About a week before your travel date, here are some things that you could do:

Inspect the electrical wirings and outlets. It will be better to unplug all home appliances but if this is not possible then don’t forget to check if all wirings and electrical outlets are in good condition. Make sure that no wires are exposed and everything is working properly.
Examine the areas such as the backyard or garden. If you have a swimming pool, make sure that is securely covered. Perform all the needed gardening activities before the trip.
Check for the gas and water for any leaks. This is something that should not be neglected. Ensure your home is safe eve when you’re away and prevent any accidents from happening.
Roofing and flooring are also two important things that should be checked. Look for any signs of damages or much needed repair. Do this task immediately to avoid any problems before your trip.

Remember that the key to a fun travel is having that peace of mind. Ask a friend or a family member to check on the house while you are away to make sure that everything is all good.

I was wondering if our state has a Filipino restaurant as in just catered Filipino food at all. In my nice surprised yes there is actually, so glad we have although it is quite far driving from us! At least i know for sure that if i am really craving for authentic cuisine i will just ask the husband to drive me over there anyway we both love to go out and dined and enjoy Filipino food after all. The restaurant is in Clarksville, Tn so if you are close to that area now you know where to go to find real pinoy food, huh! The named is Kabayan Philippine Cuisine this a new Philippine cuisine restaurant they offer traditional dishes prepared and served by madam Jackie and Mr. Billy Caisip and their awesome staff. I haven't been there yet but looking forward to go there one of this days, accordingly it feels like you are in the Philippines it is cozy little eatery and feels like home and taste like home. December 18 was the live aired of survivor finale and reunion and so i missed the show but fortunately i get to follow them at their official website despite am late still i am a goer of my all time favorite reality show in television. I am happy Coach didn't get the prize and Sophie did! She deserved more than the 3 of them :-) anyway that's my own opinion though! Well, i can not wait for the next Survivor One World season 24 on February of 2012, am thrilled because it's another exciting and anticipated show of survivor again! I really want to build a house in the Philippines soon. I have no idea when though, but provided the means I want it now, right at this very moment LOL! One of the things to consider is the house insurance also. I wonder if they have like home insurance providers there that's the same like what we have here. Will discuss it with my father soon, serious matters such as a new house needs a serious planning too. We can't just cross bridges ain't sure of what's waiting for us on the other side. But of course it's good to think positive and hope for the best. On a second note, am watching news channel online now. I can't help but feel sorry to everyone affected by the latest typhoon that hit the Philippines. So many houses were destroyed and many more lives are lost. I have a friend who lives in the severely stricken area, they are now one of the evacuees. I'm glad they're safe. Praying for their wellness.

To my nice surprised I had 2 boxes from the Filipino store i got the goodies at first i asked myself before i open it "did I order this much??" lol. Was really shocked but then i realized they just doing their job to satisfied their valued costumer. The white box was where the frozen seafood and the box on the right was my dry goods. They make sure that it will arrived to my door step with all my satisfaction and whole. T'was my first time to doing business on this store and i think am gonna stick to them for awhile. I have this mutual friend met her at social network site and we kind get along very well since then. We chat just about everything and anything under the sun, she also have 2 kiddos like me. She one time invited us to go visit them at winter time because they are close where the hard snow hits every year and there's a place up there that we can spend our ultimate ski get away! How's that? Cool huh! I really do love to experience that ever since i could remember!how's that? Been thinking of it once in awhile that someday husband and I with our kiddos can take a break and go to the mountains and skiing! Just a matter of WHEN though, lol.

Oh yes! These are the goodies that i just purchased at Filipino store online. I've missed salt water fresh in a long time and one of those are galunggung and matambaka they're just not so big of fishes but sure they taste so good and i know fellow Filipino here will agree with me! Don't you guys? I got the frozen seafood a day after and i was really impressed with their handling and shipping they met my high expectation too. So happy with my order.

These are rest of the goodies that i have purchased along with the fishes although they were packed separately but they came in me at the same time! Just missing this stuff and can't wait to wait another time to get it! Glad husband is always there for me. Wink!

Before checking about this Assisted living san Antonio article, a friend was asking for some queries, let me first share with you what happened to my day. I had an appointment with my doctor. Feeling sick this past few days and not wanting to prolong it, asked for his advice and findings. Well, it's a self-inflicted sickness I guess. Am not taking enough fluids and the result is am too dehydrated. Bad me! I'm learning my lesson very well now. It's not good to take for granted what seems to be ordinary things, like drinking water. Anyway, hoping to feel better soon. The medicine should hit hard on me cause I just hate feeling sick! Who wouldn't be?

Just imagine the ambiance, scene and pampering such place has to offer. You could just walk all day by the seashore, take pictures here and there, eat and sleep as much as you like. The woman that husband works for the cabinets job wanted him to get something unique stuff to complete her kitchen look. Some of those are the labels the holders i mean of the drawers and doors she want something fancy and outside the box kinda stuff. The other thing is she prefers the metal switch plates to match her silver expensive appliances such as the refrigerator, washers and stoves. I think it would look so elegant when everything are set up in its places because i learned she will put granite on her counter top. I definitely go with the husband to go see and take pictures of it! Wink!

We all have our dream house. Either for ourselves or for our loved ones. What comes to your mind when you think about it? I have my ideas. I'd like it to have a grand veranda for bbq nights, a wide kitchen for my cooking, glass windows for a perfect cozy afternoon, I can go on with my lists. It's not suppose to be a mansion though, I just want it to be simple yet beautiful. My head really hurts right now. After a long day of writing and reading, I feel like my brain is so exhausted and knocked down. But am not done yet! I still need to figure out what is flexible PCB all about. You see, my husband is a handy man and he's currently doing a big project that is to remodel an entire kitchen. He changed everything, from the flooring to the tiles, cabinets and the appliances. He's still not done with the installation and sometimes I go to his studio and help him in ways I can. He told me to find a good deal of flexible circuits for the wiring I guess. So here I am, browsing and checking for options. Oh boy, my eyes are popping out already! Need to treat myself after this very busy day. What could be a nice reward for a busy wife/mommy like me huh?

Time passes by so fast, the year is almost to end and another one is about to begin. I look forward to the following year with all smiles. Things are going smoothly, I hope that we can stick to our plans and everything will be well. Anyway, one of my plans next year is to get a car. Seriously, I still don't know how to drive but if I have my own wheels, then I would be more inspired to learn how to. I know it's a big responsibility, like the proper driving skills, car maintenance and of course a Cheap Car Insurance is a must. I learned that my cousin and my soon to be sis-in-law are out of town for a couple of days. According to my sissy, they went to Basilan, OMG!( Google it) They're there for a good cause though. To volunteer and willingly give their support to a construction project. I myself love to volunteer, if only am there. But Basilan is the place I hate the most. Not because of the so many negative news but because of one heartbreaking reason. My best friend died in that place. A victim of bad elements and political strife there. It's been a long 4 years since she passed away but until now I still get teary eyes and choke every time I think of her. Anyway, am sure the group of volunteers are safe now, praying for the success of their endeavor.

I think one of the greatest country paradise for me is Australia. Always have fascination that one day i can visit this wonderful place. One of our family friend married an Aussie woman and he once invited my parents to come visit to them. He even mentioned to find my dad a job up there and maybe living for good that was then before i get here though. He said there's plenty of opportunities this country has to offer, great food, beautiful structural buildings, nice paying job and wonderful place to live. One of the place he mentioned was the city of Werribee in Melbourne. This is one of the greater city and very well developed when it comes to real estate business. If you want to build a life and family you can start it in this city, build your dream home as low as you can afford because land for sale werribee is very affordable. Not to mention it's close to busy locations such as shopping, schools, parks and restaurants. To make more easier manor lake is here to help for further information about the said place. Until now my dad and him still in good relationship and they sometimes still talking about moving there! He'll help the best he can to get started but he's aware too that am getting my parents to be with me. So it's just a thought you know maybe we'll visit Australia someday. Wink!

Do not freak out guys! Just me... lol! Just having my avocado mask earlier to rejuvenate my face. It is made of mash avocado, let it cool in the fridge then stick it to your face for at least 30 minutes to an hour. I used to do this a lot! We all know that avocados are good source of vitamin E and it is good for your skin to prevent wrinkles and such. Since then this is the old all time beauty secrets and it really works actually, and you gonna have this glowing and younger skin feeling a lot younger! Trust me! Funny though because my girl was afraid to go closer to me she might thought that their a MUMU in the house, HAHA! Meanwhile my boy, sad: "what happened to your face mama? sure it's yucky! twing! But still i don't care we all just laughed i just told them "for the love of beauty kids..." still they don't understand though, LOL.

Besides collecting purses, shoes and coupons, i am also a collector of stones and Glass Gems particularly the bold color ones. I don't know i just love looking at them specially when you put different sizes and colors altogether in a clear glass vase or in an aquarium. It just an eye catching decorative and it is truly bring a classy look in your house. I have several vases here that i filled with glass gems from red, blue to white. But i tell you they're not that cheap actually mine mostly i got it from friends and family who knows that i enjoy collecting that kind of stuff. Fortunately though, i found a wholesale store that sells in cheap price!! They have wide selections and varieties of colors, sizes and designs that you can really work your imaginations on how to create beautiful things with them! They also have the things for my hobbies! I kinda like the idea of customizing them in several ways to add my decors in my house. Will absolutely buy some in this store later on. I will check of their stuff for now. I am talking about my brother in-law's favorite sports car he had. Unfortunately he needs to sell it fairly soon because it could help him to finance his upcoming wedding and in order to get her fiance abroad. Anyway, i learned he listed it in eBay motors and some got interested on it but a guy in Chicago got the the deal. Brother in-law is kinda mix emotion both sad and happy sad because he got rid of his beloved car and at the same time happy for the profit, lol. Anyway last Sunday he supposed to meet the guy and talked about their transaction but then he didn't make it and since he is from Chicago they both decided to just use Car Shipping agency. This company will help and responsible on moving your vehicle from the seller's place to the buyer's home. For sure it is less hassle on both parties. I feel bad for my brother in law but if this will help him to reunite his fiance so be it! I'm pretty sure he'll get by it.

Ever since, my mother in law collects coupons and she share me so many times and it give me more spirit to collect coupons when i watched the show of extreme couponings in TLC. In addition i have a virtual friend in a social network site that she is really gaining lots of stuff already! So wanted to to it as well because i can see how she saved money on her coupons thingy. Imagine that you can have free stuff by collecting coupons... how good is that?? Yesterday it was the first hard snow ever for this winter season. We all looking forward for hard snow actually just like last year we had a blast! We got like 7-8 inches of snow and i took my kiddos outside to experienced and played the white and pretty snow. I personally had enjoyed it my first time to really felt it. I always love the look of the powdered snow how it blanket in the top of everything. So funny yesterday, son asked if he can go out and make a snow man but too bad it wasn't that much to make a snow man yet and i just told him lets wait in several more weeks because winter is haven't get started yet! Ever since I can remember, my family and I have always sat down and watched the Thanksgiving Day parade on TV. It just wouldn't be the holiday without seeing it with my family. So I decided that maybe we would do something a little special this year and go and see the thing in person! At first my wife thought that the idea was too crazy, but after a little convincing we decided to go for it!

When I was online looking up hotels to book for our stay there, I saw some info on Invisible Hearing Aids. As I looked through it a little bit I decided to go and get fitted with some hearing aids. The better to enjoy all of the things that we're going to experience!

The kids are even more excited about all of this than I am, if that's even possible. I just hope that they feel that way when it's super cold outside when we're standing up to see the parade. IÕm sure there will be a little complaining when it comes to that part, but it will all be worth it in the end.

Listening to music now, makes me remember the days when I used to hate it so much! Not because I hate music but because my brother puts the volume too high and it's so annoying, lol! My Dad, brother and sister had been to Bora-Bora and I'm the only one haven't get the chance to go there yet! Now i am so eager to visit there. Will put this into the consideration when our next travel plan to Philippines one day. Have to save plenty of bucks first because if am not mistaken the rate is way to expensive but surely it's worth the stay though! Just have to have the right amount of budget when planning to stay here! I was into my wanders around the web again looking for some best of the best stuff! And this time i bumped into the World's Best Hotels to stay. It's a nice surprised again that our state is one of them. Ranked #24 is the Blackberry Farm, Walland, Tennessee. A 25 minutes drive from the city of Knoxville. It's famous of the luxurious stay you ever imagined i honestly wouldn't know this if i didn't try to search about stuff that catches my mind. So if you want to spend your long weekend getaway on a luxury hotels that is unforgettable this place is perfect! Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Blackberry farms has the best to offer, the best gourmet food, hiking, fishing, awesome scenic views of the mountains and beautiful collection of rooms no wonder it is one of the top vacation destination in the country and the world. Getting Excited

Before checking out customized lapel pins, let me share you what happened to our weekend. We went shopping for the little girl's dress for the wedding. Yes, B-I-L's wedding is definitely fast-approaching! So we headed to the store, I was with the rest of the girls and found really lovely mini gowns. I got a very pretty purple bubble dress for the little Missy and she loves it. She looks so adorable and lady-like. As for the bridesmaids, we decided to wear black and have a purple accent on it. I think it would be more elegant and unique having that style. I finally have mine, I mean, I finally saw the dress am gonna be wearing. I'm so excited but definitely need to shed off some extra weight so to look good and give the dress justice. Wedding bells is so around the corner.

I insanely craving on those fish we called them Dilis and Tugnus in our local dialect in English they're called anchovies and silver fish. When i was with family in my hometown my father loves to go to the market every time specially on the weekend morning and buy plenty of fish in all kinds. He knows my favorites and one of those are the tugnus or silverfish we cook them the way we enjoy you know fish patties just eggs and flour then fried it , yum!

Well talking of these, I found a Filipino store that sells and i asked the husband before i lose my sanity kidding aside haha we will go get some otherwise i can't move on, i have to have those because I've never have them in a long long time! It's in Huntsville, Alabama so at the same time we'll go site seeing on the space center as well. Wink!

Wandering in Williamsburg

Virtually though. Most of my time in the Internet is spent wandering around different travel destinations and tourist spots. Even if I can't be in those places literally but at least a glimpse of what it's like there will do. Just exactly what am doing right now. Drooling over indoor water parks in Virgina, the Great Wolf Lodge and Resort in Williamsburg in particular. The pictures speaks for themselves. I mean, as you browse their gallery and learn of their amenities and attractions, you'll definitely wish you could be there someday. Fort Mackenzie adventure for example, it has a 4-story tree house in the center of an 84 degree indoor water park. Fun is in the air as you go through slippery suspension bridges, swinging nets, treetop slides and so much more. But if I get to go there, I would love to experience the north and south hot springs. It's been my long time dream to relax a in a hot spring and take all the stress away. How I wish! Really looking forward for a vacation next year. How about you? Do you have wanderlust in your veins too?

On the other note though, husband promised us to take a break this Saturday and go for out of town get away wonder if we are going to space center in Huntsville, Alabama! I can't wait till the weekend comes because i so wanted to go somewhere but HOME! Wink!

I so longing for a nice fashionable leather jacket for fall and winter to wear but i just keep missing every year not for long though because last Saturday i ordered this online along with the husband's winter stuff as well. First thing in my mind when i saw this one is..."I must have to have you", LOL. I love the details and stitches of this jacket and wanted black this is just the way i like it! Wouldn't it be nice to visit a somewhere, a place that's more than the usual. When I think of diverse culture, rich heritage, interesting people and wonders like no other, I can only think of one place, the Middle East. Its colorful story dates back to ancient times and been a major center for worlds affairs. One of the most famous and prosperous city in the Middle East is Dubai and I heard a lot of beautiful comments about the place.

Some of my acquaintances are working there and they say that Dubai tourism is really doing great, providing lots of opportunities to many.Its lure for tourists is based mainly on shopping, no wonder one of the world's biggest mall is found there. It is also one of the planet's most visited city, giving visitors the experience of a lifetime they could possibly have. The Desert Safari tour that includes dune bashing, camel riding, sand boarding, Arabian belly dancing, Arabic cuisine is just among the many amazing things you can do there. And they say a visit to the beautiful man-made island- Palm Jumeirah is something you cannot miss! Oh well, lucky for you if you can leave your footprints in the Middle East, a place definitely worth exploring!

I was browsing the other day and i bumped into an article about the top 10 best fried chicken restaurants in the country! And it was a nice surprised that one those restaurants is at our state. The Prince's Hot Chicken Shack is on number 6 or 7 on the lists located in Nashville, Tennessee has the best spicy fried chicken. I got excited about it so i further my research as what eater says.. it is the best fried chicken on earth!! It's about spicy in there on top of that the hot wings is phenomenal it said you will completely changed the way you thought about typical fried chicken! Hmmm, for that i am so curious now! The husband and I always love to go to a certain restaurant from anyplace, i think it is worth driving when you know that they have the good food you ever have you know!

My friend just sent me some massages asking how am i and family. She said they just had their vacation along with her sister from other state and guess where they headed up! It so happened the place that husband and I keep planning to visit is where they at we could join them huh! Anyway, she told me the place is magnificent now i truly believed it is because a fellow Filipina said so i only heard it by friends and in-laws that's why husband is so eager to take us up there. She added, that the scenic views on the top of the mountain are so beautiful!! Well, i guess next month we'll gonna proceed to go or when the man of the house is not hectic, right now he is just as busy as bee. I know he will definitely take us there but it's just a matter of WHEN! Sure though before the tax season ahead we will have a short get away somewhere! Hello visitors i am back in here after 48 years of missing blogging on this blog only though! I finally fixed the problem of this blog it's been like few days that i don't have any access because whenever i open the site i got virus alert with red flag and blah blah it stated a malware detected from such URL and may compromised by a hacker!! Say what??? i didn't take risk and just leave for few days until today i can not hold it anymore! It is so complicated at least am done and just solve the problem. You noticed i changed the layout it is because that's the problem. Wink!

Talking of short get away

Husband and I were talking about wanting to go for weekend get away at the mountains before the busy season comes the tax time will start this January so before that we kinda like to go out of town. Probably heading to Knoxville and we definitely wanna visit the great smokey mountains they said it is really nice over there during winter the scenery is blanketed with snow and because of that our automobile must have snow chain tires. I remember when my cousin went up to the mountain last winter time her husband put tire chains because they couldn't drive all the way through there destination, roads were so slippery and slick. that's one thing we have to be prepared when our short vacation on December. Better safe than never!

Missed the show

Oh just nothing much! I supposed to watch the amazing race at 7 but to no avail because the husband prefer to watch some movies. Guess will check on it online tomorrow it's kinda almost thrilled actually because they are getting closer to the finish line am just a fanatic of this reality show you know and it's been like 2 weeks in a row of missing it!

On the second note weekend is almost over again. Tomorrow will be my schedule of general cleaning and it has to be done otherwise my chores will filing up again! It's like never ending tasks for mothers! Ok i must stop complaining now, lol! It's fine though can manage it as always! Well, have a great night every one! Wink.

Excited for shower party

My brother in law is getting married hopefully early next year like the month of May or so to a friend from Philippines. Actually they met through us when he went with us to PH and that then they started as friends and now lovers, lol. Everyone is so excited about this whole process we can not wait until she gets here as soon she gets approved and get her visa next year! We have so many plans when that day comes well of course starts from shower party sissy and I are looking for bridal shower invitations ideas here and there and see what's beautiful design for her! I am so excited for her as much as i was when they surprised with a shower party i got plenty of gifts and gift cards, haha! And for her i already have something in mind what to gift to give her she will definitely love it!

Large Hails

This is so far the largest hailstones I've ever seen almost as big as golf ball. Last Wednesday our state got hit by hails and i heard this is the biggest one we had in a long long time even my husband's great grandmother said it's her first time to encounter such size imagined that and she is 90 years old! I was so freaking scared that day hails just pouring out crazy for about 5minutes straight glad my 2 nieces was here with me that moment so they calm me down a little bit. After awhile i managed to go outside and took some shots and took few hailstones and brought inside, memorabilia i may say! LOL.

The view of The Parthenon Museum in Nashville Tennessee one of the tourist destination in the country if you are familiar of the movie Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, they locate the second pearl in the Parthenon in Nashville, and Percy uses the winged shoes to take it from a statue of Athena. I like the movie and that's where i discover this museum and asked to the husband to take us there one day and indeed it was huge the columns and everything inside are very historic and ancients. We had a fun tour that day and kids were amazed by the statues and just the park itself is nice!

Ice Ice Baby

Sure winter is fast approaching. The breeze is getting colder, was even raining hail the other day! Twas almost as big as a golf ball. It made me nervous to be honest, good thing my nieces were with us in the house then. Some in our neighborhood got broken windows at home and some on their cars. Ours was timely inside the garage, thank God! I guess we would be anticipating rain showers and more snow in the coming of days. I don't really like these cold months for it spells boredom and laziness to me. It's during this time when I don't want to do anything but hibernate.

On the other hand, when I think of winter, I can't help but admire the beauty of rooftops blanketed with snow. The joy of watching the guys and gals in the hood play with their snowboards, flipping through the cold air with their thick jackets. The fun playing with the kids at the backyard, throwing snow balls and hitting Mr. Snowman. Hot chocolates in the morning, and definitely, hugs from our loved ones becomes warmer. Oh well, winter can be nasty sometimes. But sure thing there's more fun and excitement this freezing weather can bring. Everyone, let's brace up for winter!

I was so curious about the place and so i asked the husband to take us there so yesterday we headed up to Nashville roamed around downtown squares and finally got to see the giant statue! Our Ultimate Dream Vacation

The best of the best vacation i could ever think of! Yea been dreaming to go here someday with my family even just for few days of stay it would be worth satisfying for! Husband and I thought of going there next year if it permits us to do so is just a manner of WHEN and of course the budget! We're checking here and there for best package deal they have we found one it's like 3 nights and the fourth night is a complimentary free. I think that's the package deal we gonna get someday. Plus we get to drive around Florida as well because we prefer not to buy tickets for airfare it's more adventure and we get to see the scenic views while having the joy ride! Just the thought of it gives butterfly in my tummy, lol! Just so excited can't wait.

To the Airport

Our trip last year to the Philippines was really a memorable one, I mean, literally from the start. Normally, it would take us 20 hours something to land in our destination. But because of delayed flights and other circumstances, we were stranded in the airport for 16 long hours! It was stressful but we don't want to spoil our mood so we just entertained ourselves with things to do. Good thing there were plenty. I got to really explore the wide and fascinating airport facilities. There were malls, nice restaurants, fancy shops, amusements for the kids and so much more. How about you, have you ever tried being stranded in the airport? On a second note, another airport problem that may sometimes arise is the parking. It can be very stressful finding a good spot isn't it? But here in America we have this LAX airport parking services wherein people can reserve airport parking at Major US airports. Boy, sure it is flying by so freaking fast alright and so the fall season is officially here the leaves in my backyard are starting to falling like rain and trees are changing colors as well tremendously i will take some pictures if i get a chance to sneak outside right now it's been raining for several days already and it is really getting cold... grrrrr! I am really not looking forward for colder seasons ahead it makes us lazy! haha. Anyway, that's all for my updates i can not wait for the weekend we gonna scroll somewhere but here in the house! Being Home Again

Gosh it’s nice to be home again! I really missed Texas while I was away and it didn’t make things easier that all my family was here. I had a great time living it up in NYC right after college but what I really needed was some time with my family, to be honest. Now I’m back and I’m actually starting my own salon with my sister, of course, and I’m so pumped to be in this new phase of life! My mom’s been helping us a lot by doing things like calling our accountant and going to bank-card-processing.com to look into credit card processing for the store and my sister and I have been staying busy and catching up by looking at stuff for the shop itself. It’s much harder than you’d think to decorate a salon and there aren’t that many places that sell the kinds of furniture we need for less than an arm and a leg! I love being back here and I can’t wait to get started doing big hair!

In our place later this afternoon. Tennessee has always this event all year round around the state and the husband wanted to come and see the event as he is a cars lover! He enjoys cars and everything about trucks and cars as well our 4year old son he is fascinated with them right now so the best way to spend our weekend is going and see all the vintage and awesome colorful cars out here. Am not that fun of it but for the love of fun will go for it! Will definitely bring my camera won't never miss a thing! Wink!

My mother in-law taught me about it, she's a certified coupon lady and now am following her footsteps. Believe me, lots of our grabs are from marked down price! Who needs a vacation?

We all do that's for sure. Once in a while it's nice to go someplace where we can relax, recharged, and have a good time. It would be best if we get to spend it with our friends or loved ones. Bottom line is, we all need a vacation, big or small. What's a nice place to be? Many! The choices are limitless, for now though let's consider Cape Cod.

A very famous tourist destination here in America, Cape Cod has all the good things every guest wants to experience. If you love fishing, they have the best Cape Cod fishing charters there. Aboard a fishing boat together with your family and spend an entire day catching fish and other seafood! By the way, they said it wouldn't be a complete vacation without trying the island's favorite lobster and clam bake. Now that's so cool! For me anything seafood is the best. That's how much I miss living near the sea, the food and the beach. Anyway, for those who wants to have a vacation, why not Cape Cod? Indeed a nice place to be!
